Data We Collect

For Couples

Name, Email, Phone, Partner’s Name, Guest Lists, and Wedding Budget details.

For Vendors

Business Name, National ID/Trading License (for KYC), Portfolio Media, and Payment Details.

Information Sharing

Vowsery shares information only to facilitate the wedding planning process:

Leads: When a couple posts a lead, their location and service needs are visible to vendors. Contact details are hidden until a vendor "unlocks" the lead.
Bookings: Once a booking is confirmed, contact details are shared between both parties to allow communication.
Public Profile: Vendor portfolio data and reviews are public to all users.

Security & Payments

We do not store full credit card or mobile money PIN details on our servers. All financial transactions are processed securely through Flutterwave (or other PCI-DSS compliant providers). We use industry-standard SSL encryption to protect your personal data.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to the data we hold about you, request corrections, or request that your account and associated data be permanently deleted. Contact us at privacy@vowsery.com to exercise these rights.

KYC Data Retention

Vendor identification documents are used solely for verification. These documents are encrypted and accessible only to our administrative verification team.
